Kim Jeong-Won, a Korea University psychology graduate and assistant professor at Hanyang University ERICA, received the National Research Foundation of Korea President’s Award for outstanding participation in the 2025 Phase 4 Brain Korea 21 (BK21) program.
Kim was recognized for his research achievements with Korea University’s Psychological Science Education Research Group for Reducing Social Inequalities and Promoting Sustainability.
The award ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Education and NRF on February 25 in Seoul, honored 101 recipients for excellence in education and research. The Phase 4 BK21 program (2020–2027) supports graduate students and early-career researchers through scholarships and research funding.
Kim’s work reflects the program’s goals of advancing psychological research, developing future talent, and addressing social inequality and sustainability.
