The lab examines the formation of emotional experiences as processes of cultural and social interpretation, and investigates how emotions affect social relationships and interpersonal dynamics.
Cultural and Group-Based Experiences
Research also focuses on the experiences of sociocultural subgroups, including those defined by social status and gender, and how these group-based contexts shape emotional life and psychological functioning.
